Background of co-organiser
Reconnect Limited is a charity non-profit organization (NGO) that runs environmental education program at schools in Hong Kong. Through interactive teaching materials, we instill environmental values and thus influence their behavior. Their programs provide a high quality education experience for the students to learn how to protect the environment in a practical way. The Program is a spin-off from the “Reconnect” concept, which refers to the connection that the human being have with the environment.
Project details
Jockey Club Visualising Carbon Reduction for School Programme is a sponsored project from The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust to deliver environmental education program to 30 primary schools in Hong Kong. The program involves delivering environmental education workshops to the schools in addition to the online platform provided for the school students to manage their carbon footprint (www.folio.com.hk).
Students will be responsible for:
- Responsible for preparing teaching materials for our environmental education classes;
- Assist in teaching our environmental education program (in Cantonese); and
- Assisting in the preparation for the program ceremony.
