Background of co-organiser
Interface Education was founded by a group of University instructors and staff, who strive to provide high quality educational programs. This includes excursions within the Greater Bay Area, which serve to complement the new curriculum for Hong Kong’s Upper-Year High School Students. In addition, they host a variety programs targeting primary and secondary school students from science programs to international summer camps, which have been quite popular among both students as well as educational institutions.

“Walk into Greater Bay Area” Study Tour
The aim of this program is to promote a greater understanding of a variety of social matters including culture within the region, environmental concerns and economic development through conversations with the locals. This program also gives HK students a closer look at “China’s Sustainable Development” model. 2-day and 3-day study tours will be organized with HK local schools throughout the whole academic year.
Duty of HKU participants:
- To modify a new handbook for the study tours mentioned;
- To design new activities in study tours to fit the curriculum and the purpose of experiential learning in secondary school level;
- To communication with secondary school teachers from administration to operational level;
- To co-lead the tours in mainland China with experienced instructors if necessary.
