Experiential Learning at EdCity

Background of Co-organiser

Established in 2000 with the support of the Quality Education Fund, Hong Kong Education City (EdCity) was incorporated in 2002 to become a wholly-owned company of the Government. With a mission of being the industry initiator and facilitator, EdCity (www.edcity.hk) is devoted to providing information, resources, interactive communities, online tools and services to strive for innovative learning and enhance teaching effectiveness, fulfilling its commitment to embrace new opportunities with different stakeholders in the digital era.

Project Details

Students will have opportunities to work with EdCity’s colleagues for developing learning and teaching content, maintaining website, promoting service and organising event for stakeholders of various services like:

eAssessment, e.g.

Student schemes (including Chinese, English, STEM, LS, Reading)

eReading, e.g.

eResources, e.g.

Virtual Learning Environment, e.g.

Professional Development Training, e.g.

  • September 26 – November 1, 2022
  • Students are required to work 5 full days per week

Location

Hong Kong Education City, Sha Kok Estate, Shatin

Eligibility

PGDE full-time students from all major subjects who:

  • have good command of spoken and written Chinese and English; and
  • are proactive, creative, open-minded and passionate for education and innovation.
