Break the Stigma – Gender Justice and Period Positivity

Background of Co-organiser

Happeriod is the first one-stop online platform offering menstrual education and related products in Hong Kong. By providing a casual environment for sharing menstrual experience and understanding their own bodies, Happeriod aims to help menstruators debunking social norms and misunderstandings, loosening body restrictions, choosing a more suitable menstrual product, and ultimately building body autonomy.

Project Details

Students are expected to:

  • assist in Break the Stigma – Gender Justice & Global Citizenship Education Program;
  • assist in the menstrual education program to universities and secondary schools;
  • prepare materials for workshops;
  • assist in organizing/recruiting schools to the program;
  • provide clerical support to the program; and
  • support other educational program and daily operation.


  • September 26 – November 1, 2022
  • Irregular working days


Fanling and other parts in Hong Kong (depending on workshop location)


PGDE full-time students who meet the following criteria:

  • Well-organized, detail-minded with strong sense of responsibility and time management skills;
  • Creative thinker, sales-driven mindset with can-do attitude;
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, strong team player – enthusiastic, passionate and versatile – we love team players;
  • Fast learner, innovative with critical thinking; and
  • Knowledge in graphical, design softwares (Canva, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop) and video creator software is a preferred.
